Okay, so I woke up in the middle of the night because my butt was sore...haha. It was so annoying, but so good! It means Jillian Michaels is already improving my body!!! I'm so excited!
I think the DVD recommends doing the workout 5 days a week, so I'm going to try it. I only ran two miles yesterday, but when I got back towards the dorms, I felt like I could have gone so much further. I would have, but dinner closes at 7pm and it was already 6:40. I hate how I have to eat based on that schedule. Eating at 7 would be perfect because by that time it is dark and I wouldn't be out running...unless I want to be eaten by wild boar.
Anyway, so quick recap on yesterday. I got out of class at 3:35 and had a lecture to go to at 5pm. I got back to my room, wasted time on the internet doing who knows what....then went downstairs to the workout room, stole some dumbbells, and came back up and started the DVD! I forgot to take my inhaler beforehand and after I finished all the initial cardio stuff I thought I was going to die. I could not breathe!!! lol So, I took like a 3 minute break and took my inhaler and then got back to it. Some of the stuff was really hard to do because my shoes kept slipping on our stupid linoleum floor! I also don't have a mat so I was using a beach towel which kept slipping. I guess I will buy one on my next trip to Walmart. I think the hardest exercise for me is the thing where you do the lunge to the side and you cross the one leg over the other and lift your inner leg. OOOH man. I couldn't keep my balance! It was pretty funny. I hope no one could see me out my window when I was jumping around and stuff. Anyway, I finished the workout like at 5:05 so I ran to the talk and luckily it was just started. Too bad I was all sweaty and gross and everyone looked back at me when I walked in...hahaha. Then at 5:45 I left to go for a run. I ran half a mile, stopped to stretch, then finished the rest of the 2 mile route. Today I hope I can do 3 miles!
Here's my plan for today: Get out of class at 5:20, run back to my room to change, run at 5:40 (since thats when running club is). I am going to do 3 miles today. When I get back, I have to go eat because otherwise the stupid cafeteria closes. I'll eat, be done by 7, come back to my room and do homework for like an hour so I have time to digest, and then do the ab workout. I didn't think about this til now, but on Tuesdays when I have class til 5:20, I should get up and do the ab workout in the morning before class. My first class is at 10:10 so I have plenty of time for that! Although I don't know what I'll do on Thursdays because I have an extra class on those days at 9am. yuck!
I told you already, but I checked out Anne of Avonlea from the library. I watched the first half last night while I was doing Latin homework. I ended up not going to bed til 1am but then I slept til 9am. I usually go to bed at 11pm, but this semester has messed me up so much because it is the first one where I don't have 8:20 classes so for some reason I think it's okay to stay up late. It's no good! I think I might watch the second half of the movie tonight though....we'll see. I only have one class on Wednesdays and it's not til 2:30....although I need to get up early anyway to work on stuff for my senior Classics exam.

Oh my gosh I think it's hilarious how we both hated that one exercise the most!! Josh was behind me doing it in our living room and I almost fell onto his face multiple times!!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to try to talk Josh into us doing it 5 days a week too. I think we can totally do it. And I'm running tonight so we'll see how that goes! I didn't last night but I definitely think that I could have. It works out because the legs are the least worked out body part in the video so we'll be working arms, back, ABS, etc in the video and then our legs and getting in our cardio through running! (Can you say...run on sentence???!!!)
